José Mourinho makes call on Vinícius Jr’s Real Madrid future

Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has made his stance on the immediate future of Vinícius Jr. crystal clear to the club’s board.

This comes with the Portuguese adamant that the headline members of his squad will be going nowhere before the summer is out.

The name of attacker Vinícius has of course reemerged as a prominent one in the media headlines across Spain and all of Europe over the course of the day to date.

Fresh off word surfacing that Real Madrid are working on a deal for RB Leipzig sensation Yan Diomandé, confirmation followed that Vinícius is firmly in the sights of Premier League giants Arsenal.

Ahead of the expiration of his contract terms at the Bernabéu in 12 months’ time, the Brazilian has been identified as a big-money target on the part of Mikel Arteta and co.

If the aforementioned José Mourinho has his way, however, then Vinícius will still be donning the colours of his current employers through the summer and beyond.

As per a report from The Telegraph:

‘José Mourinho would oppose Arsenal signing Vinícius Júnior this summer as the newly returned Real Madrid manager has told the club he wants all his big names to stay.’
