Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has admitted that he is hopeful of Endrick receiving consistent game-time during the upcoming international break.
Frontman Endrick has for his part again struggled for any kind of consistent minutes across the club season to date.
After returning from a thoroughly productive loan stint in France with Lyon, the Brazilian has since notched just a solitary start in the colours of Real Madrid.
This weekend, though, José Mourinho moved to reiterate the fact that he remains a huge admirer of Endrick’s talents.
Drawn on his young striker’s prospects for the upcoming international break, after Endrick was called up by Brazil counterpart and ex-Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s headmaster admitted:
“I want Endrick to play. If Ancelotti plays him in this international break, I will be happy.”
Brazil have been pencilled in for a pair of friendly fixtures during the November break, against Japan and Singapore respectively.
