Barcelona star Joan García has this week opened up on which players have afforded him the most help in adapting to life in the Blaugrana dressing room.
Goalkeeper Joan is for his part of course fresh off taking the biggest step of his career to date.
Following a dazzling campaign between the posts at Espanyol, the 24-year-old blocked out the outside noise, to put pen to paper on terms with Catalan rivals Barcelona.
Joan is expected to slot straight in as the Blaugrana’s new no.1 for next season, usurping both Wojciech Szczęsny, and Marc-André ter Stegen.
The Spaniard has spent recent weeks attempting to get fully integrated into Hansi Flick’s squad, ahead of a potential competitive debut against RCD Mallorca this weekend.
And as alluded to above, this week, Joan has revealed which of his new teammates have done the most to help with this process.
Speaking during an interview with Mundo Deportivo, as cited by Diario Sport, the talented shot-stopper explained:
“Eric García and Dani Olmo are acting as guides in the dressing room.”
