Javi Gracia absent from Valencia training for meeting with club president

Valencia head coach Javi Gracia was absent from Valencia’s training session on Wednesday morning as he requested a meeting with club president Anil Murthy, according to Cadena COPE.

Gracia requested the morning meeting with Murthy and reports coming out of Valencia suggest that the former Watford boss wants to leave the club after just two months in charge. Upon joining the club in July, he was promised signings and Valencia failed to invest and rebuild a depleted squad in the summer window, which closed on October 5.

First team players Dani Parejo, Francis Coquelin, Ferran Torres and Rodrigo Moreno all left the club this summer without being replaced.
