‘It wasn’t just the last ten minutes…’ – Hansi Flick critical of Barcelona’s performance as they drop two points to Celta Vigo

Barcelona took on Celta Vigo at Balaídos on Saturday night as Hansi Flick’s side set out to extend their gap at the top of the La Liga table.

Barcelona looked safe in the latter stages of the match with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski, but after Marc Casadó got sent off they conceded two goals in a matter of minutes to draw 2-2.

Coach Hansi Flick spoke to DAZN after the game, where he was highly critical of his side’s performance through the entirety of the fixture.

‘It wasn’t only the last ten minutes it was the whole match. We played a really bad game today, this is what I can say.’ Flick said when interviewed pitchside after the game.

It would seem that the Barcelona players can expect a tough dressing down from their coach over the next few days as they work to figure out what went wrong tonight.

The draw doesn’t take Barcelona off the top of the table, but it gives Real Madrid the opportunity to gain ground on them as they face Leganés in the first of two games in hand over the Catalan side.
