Real Betis star Isco has this week provided an update on his future with the club.
This comes amid the assurance that, all going according to plan, he will remain a Verdiblancos player ‘for many more years’.
Midfielder Isco held a press conference on Thursday, to promote the release of his partner’s documentary, ‘In Silence’.
During as much, a number of matters football-related were inevitably put to the former Real Madrid standout.
One such topic saw Isco – sidelined at present through injury – questioned on whether he intends to sign a new contract at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
This comes ahead of the expiration of his current terms in the summer of 2027.
And the 33-year-old, in quotes cited by Mundo Deportivo, went on to confirm:
“Hopefully it will be for many more years; I want to play in the new stadium. They need to reach an agreement over the construction work soon… Otherwise I won’t make it in time!”
