Inter are set to complete the signing of Real Madrid star Achraf Hakimi in a deal worth €40m, according to Fabrizio Romano of The Guardian.

The right-wing-back has been a revelation during his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga over the past two seasons. It has been reported that talks have been ongoing between Inter and Real Madrid since March. Hakimi has agreed to sign a five-year contract with the Serie A side believed to be worth €5m per year.

Madrid have made it clear that Dani Carvajal will be first-choice right-back next season and the 21-year-old Moroccan international has decided to opt for regular football at a crucial stage in his development. More follows.
