An update on the wellbeing of Barcelona star Joan García has on Sunday come to the fore online.
This comes after the goalkeeper set alarm bells sounding across Catalunya’s capital on Saturday.
Joan featured from the off yesterday evening, as Barcelona put Real Betis to the sword by five goals to three in Seville.
Following the full-time whistle at La Cartuja, however, the Spaniard was spotted limping heavily, giving rise to concerns surrounding a potential injury.
24 hours on, an update on the wellbeing of Barca’s no.1 has in turn surfaced.
The info comes courtesy of Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who has confirmed that:
‘Joan García is not worried. Just a knock. He’ll train with the rest of the goalkeepers tomorrow.’
The summer addition to Hansi Flick’s squad is therefore expected to be cleared to feature from the off in Barcelona’s Champions League meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday.
