Long-term Real Madrid injury absentee Rodrygo has taken to social media on Saturday night, to send a message the way of the rest of José Mourinho’s squad.
This of course comes with Los Blancos’ currently locked in action in their opening fixture of the new La Liga campaign.
After being afforded an extended break following the World Cup, Real Madrid’s star-studded ranks have gotten the new Mourinho era up-and-running courtesy of a trip to RCDE Stadium to take on Espanyol.
The visitors headed into the matchup unable to call upon a whole host of high-profile players, owing to respective long-term fitness complaints.
One such player comes in the form of the aforementioned Rodrygo, who currently finds himself in the thick of his road to recovery from a serious knee injury suffered earlier this year.
Forced to watch on from home for the evening, the Brazilian therefore took to his official Instagram account, to unveil a photo of his viewing setup for the fixture, accompanied by the caption:
‘May God bless this season. Hala Madrid!’
