Injured Barcelona star spotted at Real Madrid clash to show support for teammates

A sidelined member of the midfield ranks at Barcelona was spotted in attendance at the club’s showdown with Real Madrid.

The player in question? Gavi.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a crunch clash.

Setting about defending their title, the Blaugrana have made the trip to Jeddah, for a Spanish Super Cup finale showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid.

Hansi Flick was lucky to be able to choose from nearly a fully-fit squad for the fixture, giving rise to a strong starting XI.

The one major absence for Barca, though, came in the form of that of Gavi.

The young midfielder is of course sidelined long-term at present, owing to a knee injury.

But as alluded to above, this did not stop the Spanish international from making the trip to Saudi Arabia, to cheer on his teammates from the sideline.
