Speaking in the build-up to Saturday’s all-Basque Copa del Rey final between Athletic Club and Real Sociedad, la Real boss Imanol Alguacil gave his thoughts on the game in Seville.
“We’ve been waiting 34 years for this. Aside from being the manager, I’m also a fan, and sometimes it’s difficult to know where to sit. I’m really pleased with all that we have achieved over the past two years. We have united the fans and the team, but now we have to go and make history for this great club.”
