Iker Muniain, who started Monday’s game for Athletic Club against Mallorca at San Mamés, has become the sixth player to make 500 official appearances for the Basque side.
As reported by Sport, only José Ángel Iribar (614), Txetxu Rojo (541), Joseba Etxeberria (514), Andoni Iraola (510) and Markel Susaeta (507) have reached this milestone for Athletic.

He joined Athletic at the age of 12 from Txantrea and has scored 71 goals for the first team.
