‘I didn’t like it’ – Barcelona star critical of Hansi Flick’s squad after Sociedad clash

Barcelona star Jules Koundé has admitted that he was left disappointed by the efforts of Hansi Flick’s squad in the latter exchanges of their clash with Real Sociedad.

Barca are of course fresh off making it five wins on the bounce since the international break.

After welcoming Real Sociedad to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash, the Blaugrana recovered from a goal down, to ultimately triumph 2-1.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, though, the evening’s hosts were far from their brilliant best.

In fact, had Real Sociedad been just a little more clinical, the Basque outfit could easily have emerged with a share of the spoils.

And as alluded to above, one individual who is fully aware of as much is Jules Koundé.

Speaking to the media following the full-time whistle at Montjuïc this evening, defender Koundé – who levelled the scoring in the clash – was critical of his teammates:

“We lacked sharpness, defending, we didn’t close down the deep pass, which killed us a bit on the goal.

“I think I didn’t like our last 25 minutes. I think we suffered a lot, and we didn’t manage to control the ball well. Before that, in the first seventy minutes, I can say it was very good, we had chances, and perhaps we could have scored more than two goals.”
