The home crowd in attendance at Wednesday’s meeting between Talavera and Real Madrid made use of the opportunity to make their feelings with their heavyweight opponents crystal clear.
This came by way of a round of chants.
Real Madrid of course made the trip to minnows Talavera yesterday evening, to kick the club’s Copa del Rey campaign into gear.
When all was said and done in a surprisingly tight affair, the visitors emerged on the right side of a 3-2 result.
Their eventual triumph was aided by a penalty call late in the first-half, which was subsequently dispatched by Kylian Mbappé.
Safe to say, however, that the home fans in attendance did not agree with the decision to award a spot-kick…
As much was made clear as the interval approached, as widespread chants of ‘this is how Madrid wins’ were heard booming around the stands of the Estadio El Prado.
