How Kylian Mbappé paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo during Real Madrid 2-0 Sevilla

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé showed his appreciation for Blancos icon Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday.

This came after the Frenchman joined Ronaldo in an altogether exclusive club.

Real Madrid were of course back in action this evening, welcoming Sevilla to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.

And en route to an eventual 2-0 triumph, Mbappé rounded out the scoring from the penalty spot late on.

In the process, the former PSG standout took his tally for 2025 to 59 goals at club level, joining the aforementioned Cristiano Ronaldo as the Real Madrid player with the most-ever goals in a single calendar year.

And as alluded to above, in the aftermath of his latest strike, Mbappé was sure to pay tribute to the great CR7.

After wheeling away in celebration, the 27-year-old recreated Ronaldo’s famous ‘SIUUU’ pose, before blowing a kiss to the TV cameras at the Bernabéu:
