How Gavi trolled Vinícius Jr. in Barcelona’s win over Real Madrid

Barcelona star Gavi made use of the opportunity to poke fun at Real Madrid winger Vinícius Jr, during the meeting between the two clubs on Saturday.

This, of course, came en route to Barcelona’s dominant victory in the first Clásico of the campaign.

Hansi Flick’s troops emerged from Spain’s capital on the right side of a 4-0 scoreline last night, owing to goals on the part of all of Robert Lewandowski (2), Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

The aforementioned Gavi, meanwhile, was introduced to proceedings late on at the Santiago Bernabéu.

And the Spanish international wasted little time in making his presence on the pitch very-much known.

Amid a predictably enthusiastic cameo, Gavi was involved in one particularly head-turning exchange, involving Real Madrid standout and Ballon d’Or favourite Vinícius Jr.

After the former brought Vinícius’ progress to a halt courtesy of a foul on the touchline, words flew back and forth between the pair.

Gavi, though, soon put an end to as much, courtesy of one simple gesture.

As much is showcased in the photo below, the midfield starlet having raised four fingers in Vinícius’ direction to highlight Barcelona’s dominant position in the clash:
