How Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal reacted to ‘phantom goal’ vs Real Madrid

Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has made crystal clear his feelings regarding the non-award of his ‘goal’ during Sunday’s meeting with Real Madrid.

The name of starlet Lamine, of course, took its place front and centre in the headlines in the latest edition of El Clásico.

As much comes after the Spanish international was at the heart of a controversy which has continued to spark debate 24 hours on.

The moment in question came upon Lamine directing a clever front-post flick towards the Real Madrid goal.

After Andriy Lunin managed to shovel the ball out for an eventual corner, Barcelona’s stars quickly argued that the ball had crossed the goal-line.

With no technology to depend on, the decision regarding as much was sent to the VAR room, with it having ultimately been concluded that a goal would not be awarded.

The fallout has since been an absolutely intense one at Barcelona, with Xavi and Joan Laporta having publicly taken aim at Spanish football as a whole after seeing their domestic campaign all but ended by way of a 3-2 defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu.

How, though, does the man responsible for the ‘phantom goal’ view the situation?

Though he did not speak to the media on Sunday night, Lamine has made as much beyond clear, through his latest social media activity.

This comes with the 16-year-old having taken to TikTok, to repost an image in which his effort certainly appears to be over the Real Madrid goal-line, featuring the caption ‘judge for yourself’:
