The coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been left nothing short of taken aback by the excellence of one of the club’s summer recruits in his first training sessions with the club.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Trent Alexander-Arnold as the player in question.
Defender Alexander-Arnold was of course at last presented as a Real Madrid player in front of the media late last week.
This brought to a close a saga spanning a full year, in the approach to the expiration of the Englishman’s contract terms with Liverpool.
And safe to say, the wait appears to have been worth it for those in the Blancos’ camp…
As per a report from Diario AS:
‘Trent has started like a rocket. In terms of football and personality, but above all, in terms of physique. His first training sessions are serving to confirm that a Galactico has been signed.’
In fact, so impressed have Xabi Alonso and his staff been, that one source went as far as to state:
“Physically, he’s like a beast.”
