Newly-appointed Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick intends to issue a warning to his players, over inside information making its way outside the dressing room.
The subject of media leaks, of course, marked a headline talking point in Barcelona across Xavi’s time on the bench.
This came amid repeated instances of information considered to be private making its way into public spheres time and time again.
Xavi and his coaching staff were ultimately forced to kick into gear a full-blown investigation, desperate to find the ‘rat’ responsible.
And, if the latest word stemming from the press on Sunday is anything to go by, Hansi Flick was made fully aware of as much, ahead of himself committing to terms in the Blaugrana dugout.
As per a report from Diario Sport, the new arrival in Catalunya’s capital intends to keep matters between he and his squad completely ‘private’.
‘He doesn’t want any kind of leaks about how the players are doing or how they work,’ it is confirmed.
As a result, upon his players reconvening for pre-season training later this summer, Flick intends to issue a ‘warning’, that consequences will be forthcoming in the case of his trust being broken.
