Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has made the call to afford a senior call-up to a highly-regarded member of the club’s youth ranks this summer.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Landry Farré as the player in question.
The name of defender Farré will likely be a familiar one to those of a Barcelona persuasion, after the 18-year-old was on several occasions drafted into first-team training this past season.
The Spanish youth international has long been considered a potential star in the making behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital, with his ability to line out either in central defence or at full-back considered highly valuable.
And such traits, evidently, have not gone overlooked on the part of the aforementioned Hansi Flick.
As per a report from Sport, Barcelona’s headmaster has decided to draft Farré back into his squad for pre-season training next month.
The Barca Atlètic talent will join the likes of Toni Fernández, Juan Hernández, Jofre Torrents and Pedro Fernández in being afforded the chance to prove himself at senior level with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.
