Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick sent something of a request the way of his squad prior to going their separate ways for the October international break.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona are of course fresh off something of a week to forget.
After first being condemned to a first defeat of the season at the hands of PSG in the Champions League, the Blaugrana were then utterly embarrassed by Sevilla in La Liga on Sunday.
En route to as much, the club’s stars looked tired and overworked, hit hard by a combination of the tough schedule and personnel problems in Barca’s first-team ranks.
Prior to splitting up for the latest international break, Hansi Flick therefore made use of the opportunity, post-Sevilla, to afford some advice to his players.
As per a report from MD, the German’s message was to use the break from club football to ‘disconnect, reset, and return to full strength with the goal of facing the final stretch of the season with strength and continuing to compete for all the titles at stake.’
