Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick provided updates on the fitness of three leading members of his squad, following the Blaugrana’s meeting with Celta Vigo.
The trio in question? Raphinha, Joan García, and Pedri.
All of attacker Raphinha, goalkeeper Joan and midfielder Pedri were forced to sit out for the latest occasion on Sunday evening.
This came as Barcelona made the trip to Balaídos for a La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.
Speaking to the media post-match, manager Hansi Flick was therefore asked for the latest on the recovery efforts of the trio.
And the German tactician’s response proved to be a positive one, in confirming:
“I think Raphinha and Joan García will come back for the next match. Maybe Pedri too, so we’ll see.”
Despite the absence of a whole host of key contributors yesterday evening, Barcelona managed to secure a return to winning ways at Balaídos.
Robert Lewandowski, on his return to starting duties, proved himself the star of the show, notching a hat-trick en route to a 4-2 Blaugrana triumph.
