Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an update on the wellbeing of Blaugrana star Lamine Yamal.
This of course comes after the 18-year-old sparked widespread concern in Catalunya’s capital earlier today.
Barcelona’s squad were put through their paces at the Ciutat Esportiva for the latest time on Saturday morning.
As much comes amid final preparations for the club’s post-international break return to action against Valencia on Sunday.
The aforementioned Lamine, however, was a notable absence from the group.
Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference this afternoon, the subject of his prodigious young winger’s wellbeing was in turn put to Hansi Flick.
And Barcelona’s headmaster went on to confirm:
“Lamine Yamal will not be available for tomorrow, it’s a shame. He played with the national team with pain. He had problems, he played 79 and 73 minutes and did not train between the games because of this pain.”
