Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an update on the wellbeing of attacking star Lamine Yamal.
This comes amid confirmation that the 18-year-old is back available for selection.
Wide-man Lamine has for his part been forced to sit out each of Barcelona’s four fixtures since the international break.
As much comes owing to an injury setback suffered whilst plying his trade with Luis de la Fuente’s Spain.
The youngster was this week spotted back out on the grass ramping up his recovery efforts, giving rise to hope of a return to duty against Real Sociedad this weekend.
And speaking to the media on Saturday, Hansi Flick confirmed that Lamine is indeed an option for his XI tomorrow evening:
“Lamine Yamal will get minutes tomorrow for sure. Whether as a starter or as a sub, he will play. I think he’s completely ready, there’s no risk of relapse.
“Everyone is convinced that this is the right moment for Lamine’s return, and we are happy that he is an option for us tomorrow.”
