Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided a fresh insight into the goalkeeper pecking order in his squad.
This comes as the Blaugrana prepare to welcome back Marc-André ter Stegen.
German international Ter Stegen has for his part been sidelined since all the way back in the summer, after being forced under the knife to repair a back injury.
After a long road to recovery, though, the 33-year-old is now on the verge of marking his return to competitive duties.
Speaking during his latest pre-match press conference on Monday, the subject of the pecking order between the posts in his squad was therefore put to Hansi Flick once more.
This comes as Barcelona prepare to lock horns with Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday night.
Flick, though, was unwavering in his response, assuring:
“Ter Stegen can receive the medical green light tomorrow. Happy to have him back. But Joan García will continue being the no.1 goalkeeper.”
