Hansi Flick names ‘the most important thing’ from Barcelona 6-0 Valencia

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has revealed what he feels was the most ‘important’ aspect of his side’s latest victory.

Barca of course marked their post-international break return to action on Sunday night.

Eyeing a return to winning ways, the Blaugrana welcomed Valencia to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.

And when all was said and done, return to winning ways is precisely what the evening’s hosts managed, courtesy of a six-goal rout.

En route to as much, all of Fermín López, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski notched doubles.

It was an altogether different element of his side’s outing, though, which was deemed most notable by Hansi Flick.

After youngster Marc Bernal marked his return to the pitch following a 13-month spell on the sidelines with an ACL injury, Barca’s headmaster assured:

“The most important thing is that Marc Bernal returned. You see the fans were happy, and I’m very grateful too.”
