Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has moved to lavish well-earned praise on Blaugrana standout Robert Lewandowski.
This of course comes fresh off another goalscoring outing for the Polish icon on Saturday evening.
En route to Barcelona putting four past Athletic Club, Lewandowski kicked things into gear with the game’s opener inside five minutes.
Drawn on the name of his star goalscorer post-match, Hansi Flick therefore made use of the opportunity to reveal his take that:
“In my view, Robert Lewandowski is the best striker of the last decade.”
Lewandowski, now 37, has continued to produce at an elite rate in the final third across the early months of the new season.
Despite having been in and out of the Barcelona XI owing to a combination of injury and the fine form of Ferran Torres, the former Bayern Munich man has racked up eight goals in limited minutes.
