Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Monday provided his take on the club’s plans for the remainder of the summer transfer window.
The transfer deadline in La Liga, for those not aware, is this Friday, August 30th.
Beyond this date, clubs from the Spanish top-flight will no longer be permitted to bring in new signings, until the opening of the January window.
The aforementioned Barcelona, for one, have been tipped to thrash out deals for one or potentially even two new players prior to as much, amid links with the likes of Federico Chiesa and Marc Pubill.
Speaking to the media on Monday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of potential reinforcements to his squad was put to Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick.
In his response, though, the German remained characteristically professional, in explaining:
“I am focused on the team I have now. If we can bring in other quality players, that would be good. But I’m happy with the players I have.”
