Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick admitted that he was not entirely satisfied with the performance put forth by his players in their victory over Deportivo Alavés.
Barca were of course back in action yesterday evening, welcoming Alavés to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a 3-1 result, courtesy of an early Lamine Yamal strike, followed by a double on the part of Dani Olmo.
The reigning Spanish champions, in turn, have leapfrogged Real Madrid back to the top of the table.
As alluded to above, though, one individual who appeared largely unimpressed with the performance put forth by Barcelona was manager Hansi Flick.
After being spotted looking dejected on the sideline following the full-time whistle at the Camp Nou, Flick admitted post-match that:
“The most important part is the win, but there are some things that I don’t like. Again, we lost many easy balls.”
