Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Raphinha will take to the pitch in a central role in the club’s next outing.
This comes after the German tactician opted for an all-out attacking setup for his side’s meeting with Levante.
Barca are of course primed to return to action in short order.
After kicking the defence of their La Liga title into gear with a 3-0 victory over Mallorca, the Blaugrana have made the trip to Valencia, for a clash with newly-promoted Levante.
Hansi Flick opted to shake things up for the fixture, including all of Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, Marcus Rashford and Raphinha in his XI.
Speaking to the media ahead of kick-off, the subject of his attacking setup, and whether the latter of this quartet will play centrally, was in turn put to Barcelona’s headmaster himself.
And Flick went on to confirm as much, in responding:
“We have trained for this, and we have a good feeling about him and positive impressions, and I hope he can prove himself.”
