A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Getafe is attracting strong transfer interest by way of Serie A side Como.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Diario AS, who point towards Christantus Uche as the player in question.
Midfielder Uche is for his part fresh off an impressive debut campaign in the colours of the aforementioned Getafe.
After linking up with the Azulones from Ceuta last summer, the Nigerian international went on to rack up 33 La Liga appearances, notching four goals and six assists along the way.
Making these numbers even more impressive was the fact that they came from a whole variety of positions, as Uche repeatedly showed off his valuable versatility.
With such excellence, though, comes inevitable outside interest.
As per the aforementioned MD:
‘According to a report this Saturday by ‘Diario AS’, Como are exploring the signing of Christantus Uche.’
Whilst the 22-year-old himself is more than happy with life in Madrid, Getafe’s need for a significant sale could see Cesc Fàbregas land his man before the transfer window is out.
