A member of the attacking ranks at Barcelona has left those at La Liga rivals Getafe less than impressed with his recent comments.
That’s according to COPE, who point towards Ferran Torres as the player in question.
Frontman Ferran for his part grabbed the headlines on Sunday evening for a pair of altogether contrasting reasons.
The first came by way of his performance in Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Getafe, notching a brace in a 3-0 triumph.
The 2nd, on the other hand, was owing to a round of comments laid out by the former Manchester City man post-match.
Drawn on the performance of his side’s latest opponents, Ferran sniped:
“Getafe foul too much in my opinion. They don’t play for anything.”
And as alluded to above, an insight into precisely how such claims went down amongst those at Getafe has since been forthcoming.
The info comes courtesy of COPE, who have confirmed:
‘According to what Deportes Cope has learned, Getafe considers that Ferran Torres’ words after the match “are a lack of respect, and a lack of humility”.’
