Gerard Piqué aims fresh dig at Real Madrid after Barcelona Femení’s Clásico romp

Former Barcelona star Gerard Piqué has aimed yet another jibe at Real Madrid.

This comes after the Blaugrana women’s team went head-to-head with Real earlier today.

And it proved an afternoon to remember for the day’s hosts, who, owing to goals on the part of all of Aitana Bonmatí, Caroline Graham Hansen, Mariona Caldentey, Clàudia Pina and Victoria López, ultimately emerged on the right side of a 5-0 scoreline at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of spirits being high amongst all of a Barcelona persuasion on Sunday afternoon.

And, as alluded to above, one former member of the Catalans’ men’s team who appears to be in particularly joyous mood, comes in the form of Gerard Piqué.

Former defender Piqué was, of course, a pivotal figure in one of Barca’s greatest ever sides, with the 36-year-old, in turn, having today made use of the opportunity to provide a reminder of one of his most memorable moments as a player.

With Barcelona Femení having equalled their male equivalents’ five-goal drubbing of Real back in 2010, Piqué took to social media, to post a simple throwback to his infamous celebration on that faithful day 13 years ago:
