A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona is attracting fresh transfer interest by way of Turkey.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Marc-André ter Stegen as the player in question.
Ter Stegen was for his part heavily linked with a move to the Turkish Süper Lig earlier this summer, amid alleged interest on the part of Galatasaray.
The capital giants are even understood to have gone as far as to make an approach for the German.
Ter Stegen for his part knocked as much back, adamant that he is ready to stay and fight for his place in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona XI next season.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then Gala, as of yet, have not been deterred.
As per a report from Sport, after closing a deal for prime transfer target Victor Osimhen of Napoli, the board at RAMS Park are ready to shift focus back towards Ter Stegen’s signing.
It remains to be seen if the 33-year-old is now more open to the prospect of a move to Istanbul.
