Speaking to MailOnline Sport, former Spain international Gaizka Mendieta highlighted how good Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres could be.
“Torres can be massive. He’s already proven the quality that he has. He can perform under pressure, he enjoys his football at Valencia. Staying there will allow him to develop better, to make his name bigger and to play regularly – sometimes that doesn’t happen at that age when you go to bigger clubs.”
The 20-year-old has been linked with moves to Borussia Dortmund and several other top European clubs.
