A highly-regarded up and coming member of the defensive ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has agreed on the terms of a new contract with the club.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Landry Farré as the player in question.
Youngster Landry, for those not familiar with his name, is an 18-year-old defender who chiefly operates at right-back, but is also capable of filling a number of other positions at the back.
The Spanish youth international has long been considered a potential future star in the making in Catalunya’s capital.
As much culminated in a first-team call on the part of Hansi Flick for pre-season this past summer.
Safe to say, then, that all associated with Barcelona will no doubt be delighted to learn of the latest news surrounding Landry’s future.
As confirmed by MD, ahead of the expiration of his current terms in the summer of 2026, the young stopper and Barcelona have agreed on a new contract through 2028.
All that remains to be added are the signatures, with an official announcement expected in short order.
