Former Real Madrid starlet confirms he hopes to return

A recent departure from the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week admitted that he is hopeful of returning to the club at some point down the line.

The player in question? Chema Andrés.

Youngster Chema for his part sealed an exit from Spain’s capital this past summer.

Aware of the long road ahead of him in securing regular first-team playing time in Xabi Alonso’s midfield ranks, the 20-year-old made the call to take his talents to Germany, with Stuttgart.

And Chema enjoyed something of a dream Bundesliga debut last weekend, emerging from the bench to net the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach.

Fresh off as much, the Spanish starlet this week sat down for an interview with Disidencia Deportiva.

During the discussion, Chema was asked for his take on a potential reunion with Real Madrid down the line.

And the midfielder went on to admit:

“I think it’s a bit too soon to talk about it. But obviously playing for Real Madrid is any player’s dream. I would like to return one day, but I’m taking it step by step.”
