Speaking in an interview with Europe 1 Sport, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez admitted he believes the absence of Karim Benzema from the France team is a huge loss.
“I don’t know why he doesn’t get called up. Karim is a unique player and I think that his absence from the French team is a great loss for them. Not having the presence of the best French No 9 is a situation that nobody can understand. It is a waste.”
