Speaking on the Spanish TV show El Chiringuito on Monday, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez ruled out the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to the Spanish capital.
“He won’t come back. I have a lot of affection for him, but it wouldn’t make sense for him to come back to Madrid. He has a contract with Juventus.”
Pérez went on to discuss Sergio Ramos potentially staying at the club.
“I love Sergio Ramos, but we are in a very bad financial situation at Real Madrid. Will he leave the club? I didn’t say that… a lot can happen. We will think about it at the end of the season.“
