Barcelona and Real Madrid play each other at least twice a season, and it is almost always a crucial game. Sometimes the La Liga title is on the line, other times the Champions League. The two historic clubs will however be playing a friendly in America on July 29, report Relevo.
It will be the third time that Barça and Madrid face each other in US territory after the previous clashes of 2017 and 2022. Barcelona won both of the previous encounters and will be looking to make it a hat-trick later this month.
It will be a good way for the two biggest teams in Spain to feel each other out and assess the competition, before the beginning of a season where they will both no doubt be aiming to collect the most prestigious silverware in Europe.
The game will be part of the Soccer Champions Tour tournament, and the other teams involved are Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal and AC Milan.
