Fiorentina make contact with Real Madrid for Luka Jović

Fiorentina have made contact with Real Madrid for a loan deal involving Luka Jović, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Jović earns €6 million per season, and his salary could be an issue for the Serie A outfit. Fiorentina are currently negotiating with Real Madrid.

After the departure of Dusan Vlahović, Fiorentina have not yet found the centre forward they are looking for.

In January, Piatek arrived on loan from Hertha Berlin as well as Brazilian Arthur Cabral, but both failed to convince and the board are looking for a new striker.

Fiorentina are offering him a starting place, in an ambitious project. Fali Ramadani is pulling the strings behind the scenes. The agent has a good relationship with the club and wants the Serbian to play in Italy.

The idea is to ask Madrid for a loan with an obligation to buy and in Italy, there is optimism about the possibility of finding an agreement in the coming weeks.

Jović only played just 549 minutes in 19 games last season, scoring one goal and registering three assists.

He will turn 25 in December.
