An insight into the details of Barcelona star Ansu Fati’s imminent departure from the club has this weekend been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and confirms that the 22-year-old will depart on loan with an option to buy.
Wide-man Ansu has of course taken his place front and centre in the media headlines surrounding Barcelona across the week to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the Spaniard’s long-awaited Camp Nou departure is finally on the verge of completion.
Following weeks of back-and-forth negotiations between Barca and AS Monaco, the French outfit have green lighted the terms laid out by their counterparts in Catalunya.
So, what exactly do these terms entail?
As per MD, upon the conclusion of his loan next summer, Monaco will have the option to make Ansu’s signing permanent for €11 million.
Barca, meanwhile, ‘will also have a significant stake in the deal in the event of a hypothetical future sale by Monaco’.
When it comes to the Spaniard’s wages, as much will be split 50-50 between the two clubs for the 2025/26 campaign.
There is no mention of a buyback clause for the Blaugrana.
