Exit incoming? Barcelona star cancels fan Q&A amid transfer links

Barcelona star Fermín López has on Thursday set alarm bells sounding across the club’s fanbase.

This comes after the 22-year-old, amid mounting transfer links, cancelled a planned question and answer on The Residency app.

Midfielder Fermín has of course seen his name dominate the headlines across Spain and England alike over recent days.

As much comes amid an active push on the part of Premier League outfit Chelsea for his signature.

The Blues are understood to have earmarked the Spanish international as a leading target ahead of the upcoming transfer deadline, ready to spend big to convince Barcelona of a sale.

Fermín himself, meanwhile, is said to be mulling over the merits of a Stamford Bridge switch.

And as alluded to above, on Thursday, the youngster has turned heads once more.

This comes after The Residency – an app used to connect fans with a host of players from across world football – announced that Fermín’s planned Q&A has been cancelled at the last minute.

As much has since been widely interpreted as a hint that the attack-minded midfielder is indeed uncertain regarding what his future holds beyond Monday’s transfer deadline.
