A former member of the boardroom at La Liga giants Barcelona has this week revealed his take that Lamine Yamal is not the standout player in the club’s current first-team ranks.
The individual in question? Joan Gaspart.
Spanish businessman Gaspart for his part spent a number of years as a key figure behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
The 81-year-old was vice-president late in the 1990s, before taking over as president from 2000 to 2003.
Gaspart, in turn, this week sat down for an interview with Spanish outlet El Chiringuito TV.
During as much, the patron was drawn on a whole host of topics surrounding ongoings on and off the pitch alike at his former club.
And as alluded to above, one such response provided by Gaspart has since turned heads across Barcelona and beyond.
This comes after the Catalan revealed his take that:
”Pedri is much better than Lamine.”
