Former Barcelona head coach Xavi would jump at the chance to take up the managerial reins at Premier League giants Manchester United.
That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Sunday provided an insight into the situation.
The subject of the managerial hotseat at Old Trafford has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines across Europe over the last 24 hours.
This comes after Manchester United were condemned to their latest embarrassing defeat, on this occasion at the expense of Brentford.
Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim, in turn, has been widely tipped to be imminently sent on his way.
And in the case of as much, one tactician who would be ready to take over from Amorim is the aforementioned Xavi.
As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his official YouTube channel:
”Xavi is studying the Premier League. Xavi is monitoring the Premier League and would go immediately to Man United. Even without European football, he would go immediately to the Premier League.”
