Everton and Atlético Madrid are discussing a fee for 28-year-old right-back Santiago Arias, according to AS.
The Colombia international is known to Everton’s Director of Football Marcel Brands, who signed him for PSV Eindhoven in July 2013.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team appears to be the next destination for the defender, currently valued at 15 million euros. Kieran Trippier is Diego Simeone’s first choice at right-back at the Wanda Metropolitano. Croat defender Sime Vrsaljko also offers cover to the position, which could see Arias join the Toffees.
