Euro 2024 is starting to get serious. With only four teams remaining, each squad and every player will now begin to imagine themselves lifting the trophy come Sunday.
Spain booked their place in the semi-final in dramatic fashion on Friday, when they scored in the last minute of extra time against Germany.
Following on from this previous match, several Spanish stars will be unavailable for selection in Munich against France, both through injury and suspension.
Firstly, Pedri is set to miss the rest of the tournament, as he faces five or six weeks on the sidelines after coming off against Germany, and is likely to be replaced by Dani Olmo.
Meanwhile, Dani Carvajal is set to miss out after being sent off against Germany, with Jesús Navas set to play in his place.
Robin le Normand received his second yellow card of the tournament as well, meaning the centre-back is also set to miss out against France, with Nacho set to start.
Outside of these three changes, it is highly likely that Spain will go with a similar squad to the one that played in Stuttgart, with little experimentation at this vital stage of the competition.
Predicted Spain XI vs France
Unai Simón – Jesús Navas, Nacho, Aymeric Laporte, Marc Cucurella – Dani Olmo, Rodri, Fabián Ruiz – Lamine Yamal, Álvaro Morata, Nico Williams
