It’s all set to come down to one match. On Sunday evening Spain and England will take to the pitch of the Olympiastadion in Berlin to find out who will become European champions and have their names immortalised in the history books.
Spain are looking to win their first silverware since the 2012 edition of the European Championships, whilst England are looking to win their first Euros ever.
Luis de la Fuente will have almost his entire squad at his disposal, with only Pedri missing after being injured against Germany.
Dani Olmo will be set to continue in his place, after getting two goals and an assist in his last two matches for Spain at the tournament.
Defenders Robin le Normand and Dani Carvajal are also set to return having served their suspensions as they missed out against France.
Álvaro Morata faced a slight injury scare after being accidentally taken down by a security guard following Spain’s semi-final win but looks to have come away unscathed.
Spain have won seven, drawn three and lost four of their last 14 games against England, however, before this, they had lost seven in a row.
Spain have also won all three of their previous major finals, in the 2008 and 2012 Euros and the 2010 World Cup.
England, meanwhile, will be playing their first ever major final outside of England, although they will be boosted by the fact that they have never lost in Berlin.
Predicted Spain XI vs England
Unai Simón – Dani Carvajal, Robin le Normand, Aymeric Laporte, Marc Cucurella – Rodri, Fabián Ruiz, Dani Olmo – Lamine Yamal, Álvaro Morata, Nico Williams
