La Liga outfit Espanyol have on Friday closed a transfer agreement with Serie A champions Napoli.
This comes amid confirmation of Cyril Ngonge preparing to take his talents to Catalunya this winter.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Espanyol agree loan deal to sign Cyril Ngonge from Napoli. Deal includes a buy option clause not mandatory worth €16m plus €2m add-ons.’
Ngonge, for his part, is a versatile 25-year-old attacker, who chiefly takes to the pitch from the right wing.
The Belgian international spent the opening half of the campaign out on loan away from Naples, with fellow Serie A side Torino.
He managed 20 league appearances with the latter, including 11 from the start, chipping in with a goal and an assist along the way.
Ngonge is now preparing for a new adventure in Spain, hopeful of impressing to the point of seeing his loan deal with Espanyol made permanent in the summer.
