Endrick’s planned Real Madrid jersey number confirmed

A fresh insight into the plans of the powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid for incoming youngster Endrick has on Thursday been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Diario AS, and surrounds the jersey number set to be afforded to the Brazilian.

Frontman Endrick, of course, is primed to link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in Madrid this coming summer.

As much comes after the board at the Santiago Bernabéu struck a big-money deal for his signature back in 2022, with the attacker having since continued his development on loan in his home country with Palmeiras.

Despite his tender years, Endrick is already considered one of football’s next superstars in the making, expected to light up Spanish football for years to come courtesy of his equally impressive technical and physical qualities.

And yet, upon his initial arrival, the 17-year-old will likely be forced to take something of a back seat.

This comes with Endrick set to be forced to battle for game-time with some of world football’s standout attackers, from compatriots Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo to the incoming Kylian Mbappé.

The majority of the outings across his debut campaign in La Liga, as a result, are expected to come from the bench.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, as much looks set to be reflected in the shirt number afforded to the starlet.

As per a report from Diario AS, with Mbappé set to take ownership of the no.9 in Real Madrid’s squad, Endrick will be requested to continue donning his current Palmeiras number.

That in question? The 16.
